Users enter an address and basic building details (year built, stories, foundation type, retrofit status). The app pulls local hazard layers (fault proximity, soil amplification, liquefaction susceptibility) and combines them with building vulnerability heuristics to produce a plain-language “risk + likely failure points” report. It also generates a prioritized mitigation plan (strap water heater, brace cripple walls, secure shelving) with cost ranges, time estimates, and links to local retrofit incentives and vetted contractors. This is not a substitute for a structural engineer; it’s a triage tool that helps people decide whether to do nothing, DIY fixes, or pay for a professional assessment.
