ShedSense
ShedSense is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) for reptile and amphibian keepers who struggle to keep temperature, humidity, and lighting consistently in range. It connects to common Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi sensors (or manual entry if you’re on a budget), then turns raw readings into simple, species-specific “risk alerts” for dehydration, stuck shed, overheating, and chronic low UVB exposure. The app focuses on practical actions: what to change today (misting schedule, basking spot temp, ventilation, substrate moisture), and what to monitor next. It also keeps a health timeline (feeding, weights, sheds, fecals, vet visits) so patterns are obvious. This isn’t a magic “diagnose my pet” tool—it's a husbandry consistency system that reduces preventable problems and gives keepers cleaner data to share with vets or rescue coordinators.
