SheetScout is a mobile + web app that helps people buy bedding that fits and feels right without endless returns. Users enter mattress dimensions (including depth with topper), preferred feel (crisp, silky, stretchy), sleep temperature, and budget. The app then pulls in product data from major retailers and brands, normalizes confusing specs (pocket depth, GSM, weave, thread count marketing), and ranks options by true fit likelihood and comfort match. It also flags common gotchas like “16-inch pocket” that only fits 14 inches, or microfiber listings disguised as cotton. A lightweight AI layer summarizes reviews into fit/feel/heat signals and highlights recurring complaints. Realistically, the hardest part is getting clean product feeds and keeping them updated, so the MVP should focus on a few retailers and a tight set of sheet categories first.
