ShelfForge

ShelfForge is a web + desktop app that lets retail teams simulate planograms and aisle layouts using a lightweight “digital twin” of a store. Users import a floor plan (PDF/CAD or simple drawing), drop in fixtures, assign product categories, and run scenario simulations to estimate shopper flow, congestion hotspots, and labor impact for restocking. It’s not magic: the outputs are directional, not perfect predictions, but they’re good enough to prevent obvious layout mistakes and reduce costly rework. The app focuses on speed and practicality—templates for common store types, quick what-if comparisons, and simple KPIs (dwell time proxy, path overlap, replenishment distance). An optional AI assistant helps convert messy planogram spreadsheets into structured inputs and suggests alternative layouts, but the core value is the simulation workflow and reporting that merchandisers can actually use.
