ShelfSense

ShelfSense is a web + mobile AI app for small retailers and DTC brands that turns messy POS and inventory exports into actionable microeconomics: demand sensitivity, substitution, and product-level contribution. You upload Shopify/Square/CSV data, then the app estimates price elasticity ranges, flags cannibalization between similar SKUs, and suggests simple tests (e.g., raise price 3% on low-elasticity items, bundle complements, or discontinue chronic margin-drainers). It also highlights stockout-driven lost sales and the hidden cost of overstock via holding-cost assumptions you can tune. This is not a “set prices automatically” tool; it’s a decision cockpit with clear confidence bands and warnings when data is too thin. Expect imperfect models for tiny catalogs or low volume—ShelfSense will say so rather than pretend certainty.
