ShelfSense is a web + mobile AI app that recommends your next book based on what you actually finish, abandon, highlight, and rate—not just what you clicked. It connects to Kindle/Apple Books/Goodreads exports (where available) and also works with manual imports and ISBN scans for physical books. The core is a “finish-probability” recommender: it predicts which books you’re most likely to complete in the next 2–4 weeks given your reading pace, mood tags, and time budget. It also suggests shorter alternatives (essays, novellas, summaries) when you’re in a slump, and builds a realistic reading plan rather than an aspirational one. Brutal truth: general book recommendation is crowded and weakly monetized; this wins only if it becomes the best tool for reducing wasted purchases and guilt piles for serious readers.
