ShelfSenseXR

ShelfSenseXR is a mobile AR app for retail teams to audit shelves faster and more consistently. A worker points the camera at a bay; the app overlays planogram guidance and highlights likely issues like missing facings, misplaced SKUs, and low stock zones. It generates a simple task list (restock, pull-forward, price tag check) and exports proof-of-work photos for managers and brand reps. This is not magic: accuracy depends on good SKU reference images and decent lighting, and it won’t replace full inventory systems. But it can reduce manual note-taking and speed up routine compliance checks. The MVP focuses on one category (e.g., beverages) and a small SKU library, then expands via importer tools and integrations. It’s designed for phones/tablets first; optional support for lightweight AR glasses can come later.
