ShelfSignal is a web + mobile inventory control app for small multi-location retailers and light manufacturers who are stuck between spreadsheets and heavyweight ERPs. It connects to POS/ecommerce (Shopify, Square, Lightspeed) and ingests sales velocity, lead times, supplier reliability, and on-hand counts to generate simple, actionable reorder plans. The core value is not “more dashboards,” but fewer mistakes: it flags likely stockouts, overstock risks, and suspicious count anomalies (shrink, mis-scans, receiving errors). Mobile scanning supports cycle counts and receiving with offline mode for back rooms. It also produces purchase order drafts with suggested quantities and dates, plus a “what changed” explanation so managers trust the recommendations. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows for counts/POs, AI for anomaly detection and demand/lead-time forecasting.
