ShelfSketch

ShelfSketch is a mobile + web app for planning home storage layouts before you buy bins, shelves, or organizers. Users scan a closet, pantry, garage bay, or under-bed area with their phone to capture rough dimensions, then drag-and-drop common storage modules (shelves, drawers, totes, hooks) into a simple 2D/3D layout. The app flags obvious mistakes (door swing conflicts, unreachable shelves, wasted vertical space) and generates a shopping list with exact dimensions and quantities. It’s not magic: scans won’t be millimeter-perfect and you still need to verify key measurements, but it will prevent the most common “doesn’t fit” purchases and help people stop buying random containers. Monetization: freemium projects, paid exports/shopping lists, and affiliate links with major retailers (optional).
