ShelfSnap

ShelfSnap is a mobile + web AI app for small and mid-sized retail teams to audit shelves using quick smartphone videos. The app detects out-of-stocks, misplaced items, planogram non-compliance, and missing/incorrect price labels, then generates a task list per aisle with annotated frames and confidence scores. It’s designed for retailers who can’t afford enterprise computer-vision contracts or specialized cameras. You upload a short walk-by video, pick the store and aisle, and get a report in minutes. Managers can assign fixes to staff, track completion, and export evidence for vendors. The MVP focuses on a narrow set of high-value SKUs (e.g., top 200) and a few shelf archetypes to keep accuracy acceptable. This is not magic: it will struggle with glare, occlusion, and constant packaging changes, so it includes a lightweight “confirm/correct” flow to improve results over time.
