ShiftFair
ShiftFair is a mobile + web app for worker cooperatives that struggle with scheduling, shift swaps, and perceived unfairness. It lets members set availability, request swaps, and volunteer for open shifts while the system enforces co-op rules (seniority caps, skill requirements, max hours, rest periods) and tracks fairness over time. A lightweight “fairness meter” shows whether opportunities (prime shifts, overtime, weekends) are being distributed equitably, reducing accusations and meeting fatigue. It also includes simple attendance logging and incident notes so patterns can be addressed without gossip. This is a traditional app with a small AI component: AI suggests conflict-free schedules and swap matches, but humans approve everything. The goal is not to replace managers—it’s to make co-op scheduling transparent, auditable, and less emotionally draining.
