ShiftGuard is a mobile + web app that prevents workplace incidents by catching “today’s risk” before work begins. Supervisors run a 3-minute pre-task check that combines: (1) site conditions (weather, heat index, visibility), (2) staffing reality (new hires, fatigue, overtime, lone work), and (3) equipment readiness (quick QR checks). The app outputs a simple risk score and a short, specific prevention plan (e.g., swap tasks, add spotter, enforce hydration cadence, lockout verification). It also nudges teams to complete micro-briefs and records who acknowledged controls—useful for audits without turning into paperwork hell. This is not a magic safety culture fix; it’s a practical daily workflow tool that reduces “we didn’t think of it” failures. An AI layer helps generate control suggestions and flags patterns (recurring high-risk crews, locations, or tasks) from your own data.
