ShiftGuard

ShiftGuard is a web + desktop app (with an optional mobile companion) that monitors production robot vision systems for silent performance drift. Instead of doing full recalibration, it continuously checks whether the camera/extrinsics, focus, lighting, or lens contamination has shifted enough to threaten accuracy. It ingests periodic sample frames from existing vision PCs/PLCs, runs lightweight “health checks” (feature stability, blur, exposure, fiducial consistency, background change), and alerts with a clear root-cause probability and recommended action (clean lens, re-teach ROI, re-run calibration, replace light). It also provides a drift timeline, per-station scorecards, and a simple “golden image” baseline workflow so technicians can validate changes after maintenance. This is not a magic fix: it won’t replace proper calibration or bad setups, but it can prevent hours of downtime and scrap by catching issues early.
