ShiftGuard

ShiftGuard is a web + mobile app for small-to-mid factories that tracks the real reasons automation cells lose time: micro-stops, changeovers, sensor faults, and operator interventions. Instead of pretending you can fully automate root-cause analysis, it focuses on fast, structured capture of downtime events (from operators and maintenance) and correlates them with PLC tags and basic machine signals. The app turns messy notes into standardized reason codes, highlights repeat offenders by line/asset/shift, and produces a weekly “top 5 fixes” list with estimated payback. It integrates lightly (OPC UA/MQTT gateway) rather than requiring a full MES rollout. The AI component is narrow: it suggests likely reason codes, summarizes shift handovers, and drafts maintenance tickets—without claiming to predict failures with magical accuracy. This is meant to be deployed in days, not quarters, and to show value even with imperfect data.
