ShiftHandshake

ShiftHandshake is a web + tablet app that enforces consistent, auditable human-cobot handoff procedures on the shop floor. It provides step-by-step “handoff checklists” tied to specific cobot cells (e.g., load/unload, tool change, part inspection), requiring quick confirmations (QR/NFC badge + on-screen prompts) before the cobot can proceed. The app logs who did what, when, and under which safety state, and flags deviations (skipped steps, repeated near-misses, abnormal cycle interruptions). A lightweight AI layer analyzes logs and incident notes to suggest which steps are causing friction, which operators need refresher micro-training, and which cells have rising risk signals. It integrates with common cobot ecosystems via simple APIs or PLC signals (where available) to gate “ready-to-run” states without heavy re-engineering. The goal is fewer mistakes, fewer stoppages, and clearer accountability.
