ShiftHold

ShiftHold is a web + mobile scheduling app for hourly teams that stops last‑minute chaos by enforcing “schedule locks” and tracking change accountability. Managers publish a schedule, then lock it; any change after lock requires a reason, triggers an approval flow, and automatically notifies affected staff. Employees can swap shifts inside guardrails (skills, labor rules, overtime limits), and the app keeps a clean audit trail for disputes. It also includes a lightweight availability capture, time-off requests, and a “coverage marketplace” that only shows eligible employees. This is not a full HR suite—by design. It integrates with existing payroll/time clocks (where possible) and focuses on the single painful moment: when the schedule starts changing and everyone gets angry. Realistically, it wins by being simpler than workforce management giants while being stricter and more transparent than generic calendar tools.
