ShiftKWh is a web + mobile AI app that helps industrial sites reduce electricity costs and energy waste by shifting flexible loads away from peak-demand windows. It ingests interval meter data (15-min/1-min), production schedules, and basic equipment constraints to identify “moveable” consumption (compressors, chillers, pumps, batch processes) and proposes safe shift plans with quantified savings. The app focuses on practicality: it outputs operator-friendly run plans, alerts when demand is trending toward a peak, and tracks whether shifts actually happened. It also produces finance-ready reports showing demand charge reduction, kWh changes, and operational impacts. It’s not a full-blown EMS replacement; it’s a narrow tool aimed at one measurable outcome: lowering demand charges and peak kW. Expect some onboarding friction (data access, stakeholder buy-in), but once connected, the value is easy to verify on the bill.
