ShiftLedger
ShiftLedger is a mobile + web app that helps people contribute through short, local service “shifts” (30–120 minutes) that are actually verified. Nonprofits and community organizers post micro-volunteer needs with clear requirements, location, and time windows. Volunteers claim a shift, get a simple checklist, and complete proof-of-work (geo check-in, timestamped photos, organizer confirmation, and optional QR codes). The app builds a portable “impact ledger” showing hours, types of service, and verified outcomes—useful for students, employees, and anyone who wants proof beyond feel-good posts. It also includes realistic guardrails: no vague missions, no endless browsing, and automatic limits on low-quality listings. Monetization is B2B: nonprofits pay for posting/verification tools and reporting; companies pay for employee volunteering dashboards. This is not a miracle “find your purpose” app—it’s logistics and accountability for service.
