ShiftLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps cities, utilities, and project developers track whether clean-energy projects are actually delivering a “just transition” for workers and communities. It standardizes reporting on local hiring, wage floors, contractor compliance, retraining outcomes, community benefit agreements, and grievance resolution—then produces audit-ready dashboards for funders and regulators. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows for data collection and approvals, plus AI to extract metrics from contracts, payroll summaries, training rosters, and meeting notes, and to flag likely non-compliance or greenwashing claims. The hard truth: most organizations want the PR value of ‘just transition’ without the operational burden. ShiftLedger makes compliance cheaper than spin, while giving communities a transparent view of what was promised vs delivered.
