ShiftPact

ShiftPact is a web + mobile scheduling app that helps teams run genuinely flexible schedules without chaos. Employees submit availability, “no-go” times, and preferred hours; managers set coverage requirements and constraints (skills, minimum staffing, labor rules). The system then proposes schedules and shift swaps that are actually workable, with an audit trail showing why decisions were made. It includes a lightweight “flex fairness” score so the same people don’t always get stuck with bad shifts, plus a simple policy layer for hybrid teams (in-office days, meeting windows, time-zone overlap). This is not a magic autopilot: it’s a constraint-based planner with AI-assisted suggestions and messaging to reduce back-and-forth. The goal is to cut scheduling time, reduce resentment, and keep coverage stable while honoring flexibility as much as reality allows.
