ShiftPool is a mobile + web ride-sharing marketplace built specifically for shift workers (healthcare, warehouses, hospitality) who need predictable rides at odd hours. Instead of on-demand surge chaos, riders schedule recurring trips (e.g., 6:30am Mon–Fri) and get matched with vetted local drivers willing to commit to those routes for a fixed weekly rate. Employers can optionally subsidize rides, manage eligibility, and view attendance-impact reporting. The app focuses on reliability: backup driver coverage, late-arrival guarantees, and clear cancellation rules. Drivers benefit from stable income blocks rather than chasing pings. This is a traditional app with light AI: demand forecasting to pre-position driver supply and optimize route bundling for nearby workers leaving the same facility. The goal is not to “beat Uber everywhere,” but to win specific corridors and employers where reliability is worth more than instant pickup.
