ShiftRide is a mobile + web app that helps shift workers (nurses, warehouse staff, hospitality) secure reliable rides to and from work with predictable pricing. Users set recurring shift schedules, preferred pickup windows, and backup options. The app matches them with vetted local drivers and small fleets who want consistent, pre-booked demand, and it automatically reassigns if a driver cancels. It also supports “last-mile” plans from transit hubs and employer-sponsored ride credits. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional booking, payments, and dispatch, plus AI to forecast no-show risk, optimize driver positioning for scheduled pickups, and detect problematic cancellation patterns. The focus is not competing head-on with Uber/Lyft for on-demand rides; it’s owning the scheduled, reliability-first niche where being late can cost someone their job.
