ShiftScribe

ShiftScribe is a web + mobile AI app for manufacturing shift handovers. Operators record quick voice or typed notes during the shift (downtime reasons, quality issues, changeovers, safety observations). The app converts them into a structured handoff: prioritized issues, affected machines, timestamps, photos, and clear next actions. It also auto-generates a “top 5 problems” summary for supervisors and creates follow-up tasks with owners and due times. The goal is to stop the daily chaos where critical context is lost between shifts, causing repeated mistakes, longer downtime, and blame games. It integrates lightly: export to CSV, email, and optional connectors to CMMS (e.g., MaintainX) and Teams/Slack. This is not a full MES replacement; it’s a focused layer that improves communication and accountability with minimal setup.
