ShiftSentry

ShiftSentry is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for incident management handoffs across on-call rotations. Instead of trying to replace PagerDuty/Jira, it focuses on the messy gap: what actually changed during the incident, what’s still risky, and what the next shift must do. It generates a structured handoff brief from Slack/Teams threads, ticket updates, and monitoring notes, then forces confirmation: owners, deadlines, and explicit “unknowns.” It also tracks “handoff debt” (open actions that repeatedly roll over) and escalates before it becomes an outage. The product is realistic because teams already have tooling; they just don’t have consistent handoffs. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI summarizes and extracts action items, while the workflow and audit trail are deterministic and compliance-friendly.
