ShiftShield

ShiftShield helps knowledge workers enforce work-life boundaries with less guilt and fewer missed messages. Connect Gmail/Outlook, Slack, and Teams, then set “off-hours rules” by person, channel, and urgency. During protected time, the app pauses notifications, batches non-urgent items into a digest, and sends polite, customizable auto-replies that set expectations (e.g., “I’ll respond tomorrow at 9am”). For truly urgent cases, it offers a single “break-glass” path with a short form that forces the sender to justify urgency and routes it to your chosen emergency channel. A lightweight dashboard shows boundary violations by source (manager, client, team) and suggests rule tweaks. This is not therapy or vague wellness; it’s practical message control that reduces the constant drip of interruptions while keeping you reachable when it actually matters.
