Managers publish schedules, and employees can offer shifts, request swaps, or claim open shifts in seconds. The app enforces rules (overtime limits, role qualifications, union constraints), auto-suggests eligible replacements, and logs approvals to avoid disputes. It integrates with common time clocks and payroll exports so changes don’t create downstream mess. This is not a “time tracking” clone; it’s a coverage workflow tool that focuses on the most expensive time problem in frontline work: unfilled shifts and manager time spent texting. An AI layer can summarize coverage risk for the week and recommend staffing buffers based on historical callouts, but the core value works without AI.
