ShiftSignal is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that tracks job-market demand in near real time by aggregating and de-duplicating public job postings, staffing agency listings, and company career pages. Users can filter by role, seniority, pay range (when available), remote/hybrid/on-site, and geography to see where hiring is accelerating or freezing. The app flags “ghost jobs” and repost churn, estimates time-to-fill trends, and shows which skills are repeatedly requested so job seekers can prioritize what to learn. For workforce boards, schools, and training providers, it provides dashboards that translate messy posting data into actionable signals: which occupations are growing, which are declining, and which employers are actually hiring. It’s not a magic crystal ball—just a clearer, faster read on demand than quarterly reports and anecdotal LinkedIn scrolling.
