ShiftSignal is a mobile + web app for teachers to run consistent, low-friction classroom transitions without yelling, clapping patterns, or constant reminders. Teachers build a simple “transition playlist” (clean up, line up, stations, independent work) with a visual timer, on-screen steps, and an optional sound cue. Students see the same cues every time on a projected dashboard or shared class display, reducing confusion and repeated directions. The app includes quick behavior tracking tied to each transition (e.g., how long it actually took, noise level rating, who needed reminders) so teachers can spot which transitions are breaking down. This is not magic: it won’t fix weak routines overnight. But it will make routines consistent, measurable, and easier to run, especially for new teachers and classes with frequent disruptions.
