ShiftSky is a mobile + web AI-assisted weather prediction app that converts messy forecasts into simple, decision-ready “risk windows” for the next 6, 24, and 72 hours. Instead of showing ten different models and confusing icons, it answers practical questions: “When is the safest 2-hour window to pour concrete?”, “What’s the lightning risk on my jobsite between 1–5pm?”, or “Will winds exceed 25 mph during my event setup?” Users pick an activity template (construction, outdoor event, farming tasks, drone flight) and set thresholds (wind, precip rate, lightning distance, heat index). The app blends public model data with nowcasting radar/satellite and outputs a confidence score, plus alerts only when the plan should change. It’s realistic: it won’t promise hyperlocal certainty; it focuses on probability, thresholds, and clear go/no-go guidance that saves time and reduces costly weather-driven mistakes.
