ShiftSnooze
ShiftSnooze is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) for shift workers who can’t follow “normal” sleep advice. Users enter their upcoming rota (or import from Google Calendar), commute time, and constraints (kids, second job, noise). The app generates a realistic sleep/wake plan for the next 7–14 days, including anchor sleep, strategic naps, caffeine cutoffs, light exposure windows, and “minimum viable sleep” fallbacks for brutal weeks. It focuses on adherence: one-tap “I’m off schedule” replanning, alarms that adapt to sleep windows, and short check-ins that track fatigue, near-miss incidents, and sleep debt. It avoids pretending to be a medical device: no fake sleep staging unless a wearable is connected. The goal is fewer dangerous fatigue days and less guesswork, not perfect sleep hygiene.
