ShiftSocket

ShiftSocket is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns fleet schedules into executable charging plans. Instead of generic “optimize charging” promises, it focuses on the messy reality: vehicles return late, drivers swap units, chargers fail, and dispatch priorities change hourly. The app ingests planned routes/shift rosters and real-time vehicle SOC/ETA, then assigns specific chargers and time windows per vehicle while respecting depot constraints (breaker limits, charger availability, priority vehicles). It alerts ops when the plan will miss morning readiness and proposes concrete fixes: swap vehicles, reassign bays, or trigger a paid public charging stop for a subset. It also produces an auditable “why” log for every decision (useful for union/ops disputes) and basic cost reporting by shift and vehicle. This is not a full telematics suite; it integrates with what fleets already use.
