ShiftSqueeze

ShiftSqueeze is a web app (with optional mobile manager view) for service businesses that live and die by labor hours: clinics, call centers, repair shops, and field service dispatch. It turns messy demand signals (appointments, tickets, call volume, walk-ins, seasonality) into an hourly staffing plan and highlights where you’re bleeding money through overcapacity or risking SLA breaches through undercapacity. The MVP focuses on fast setup: connect one scheduling system and one demand source, then generate a weekly staffing recommendation with confidence bands and a clear “why” behind each suggestion. It also tracks forecast accuracy and shows the cost of being wrong, so managers can improve instead of arguing. This is a combination traditional + AI app: deterministic rules for constraints (labor laws, skills, shift rules) plus ML forecasting for demand and shrinkage.
