ShiftSwap

ShiftSwap is a mobile + web app for hourly workers and small employers to manage last-minute shift coverage without endless group chats. Workers post a shift they need covered, set constraints (skills required, overtime limits, preferred swap), and the app automatically finds eligible coworkers, ranks matches, and routes requests for approval. Managers get a simple dashboard that enforces rules (labor compliance, max hours, certifications) and logs everything for payroll. The “human & social” angle: it reduces resentment by making swaps transparent, first-come/qualified, and reputation-based (reliability score, no-show history). It also supports “mutual aid” credits so teams can track who helps whom without turning it into a popularity contest. This is not glamorous, but it’s a daily operational headache in retail, hospitality, and healthcare support roles, and people will pay to make it stop.
