ShiftSync is a mobile + web app for parents and caregivers to manage the messy logistics of childcare: who’s picking up, when, from where, and what happens when plans change. It provides a shared schedule, pickup authorization details, location-aware reminders, and a simple “swap/cover” workflow for last-minute conflicts. The app focuses on reducing missed pickups, late fees, and frantic group texts by keeping one source of truth that everyone can access. It also stores critical info (car seat notes, allergies, daycare rules, gate codes) in a structured format so a backup caregiver can step in without chaos. This is not a magic parenting app—adoption is the hard part—so it’s designed to work even if only two people use it, and it integrates with existing calendars rather than replacing them.
