ShiftWindow

ShiftWindow is a web + mobile availability manager for people whose schedules change weekly (shift workers, freelancers, caregivers, students with rotating timetables). Instead of forcing users into static “working hours,” it lets them publish availability as flexible windows with rules: commute buffers, minimum notice, max daily meetings, blackout patterns, and “energy” blocks (focus vs. social). It syncs read-only from Google/Outlook to avoid double-booking, but the user controls what gets exposed. Share links can be role-based (client vs. friends) and can auto-expire. The app also supports “soft holds” where a slot is tentatively reserved for a short time until confirmed, reducing back-and-forth without overcommitting. The goal is simple: reduce scheduling chaos for people who don’t have a predictable 9–5, without becoming another full calendar product.
