ShipGuard

ShipGuard is a web app (with optional Slack integration) that acts as a lightweight release gate for small engineering teams. It connects to GitHub/GitLab, your CI provider, and your error monitoring to create a single “release readiness” score for every deploy. Instead of yet another dashboard, it enforces a simple workflow: define a few measurable policies (test pass rate, coverage delta, open Sev-1 bugs, recent crash-free sessions, performance regressions), then block or warn on deploys when the policies fail. It also generates a short, human-readable release note draft and a rollback checklist so on-call engineers aren’t improvising at 2 a.m. This is not magic: it won’t replace QA or observability. It’s a pragmatic guardrail that reduces avoidable incidents by making teams consistently check the same signals before shipping.
