ShipSage

ShipSage is a mobile + web AI-assisted shipping and packing copilot for secondhand sellers who ship a lot and hate losing money on postage. You enter item type, rough dimensions/weight (or snap a photo next to a common reference), destination, and your available packaging. The app recommends the lowest-risk cheapest label across USPS/UPS/FedEx options, suggests the best box or polymailer, and warns you when your inputs are likely to trigger dimensional weight or surcharge surprises. It also generates a simple packing checklist and stores repeat “item templates” (e.g., sneakers, jeans, small electronics) so you stop re-measuring everything. This is not a marketplace; it’s a margin-protection tool. Realistically, it wins only if it saves sellers money quickly and consistently, because sellers will churn the moment recommendations feel wrong or slow.
