ShipSentry

ShipSentry is a web + mobile app for small-to-mid warehouses that reduces mis-picks, wrong labels, and late shipments without replacing your WMS. It sits on top of existing workflows: import orders from Shopify/Amazon/ERP, generate a pick list, and require barcode scans at pick and pack to verify each item, quantity, and destination. The app flags exceptions in real time (short picks, substituted SKUs, address mismatches, hazmat/temperature constraints) and creates an audit trail with photos at pack-out. A lightweight rules engine enforces customer-specific packing requirements (inserts, carton limits, carrier/service rules). Basic AI is used to detect likely error patterns (e.g., commonly confused SKUs, bin locations with high mis-pick rates) and recommend slotting or process changes. It’s realistic: the core value is scanning enforcement and exception handling, not “magic automation.”
