ShipSnipe

ShipSnipe is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that calculates the real, all-in cost of an auction item before you place a bid. It pulls listing details, estimates shipping using carrier-rate APIs, flags oversized/fragile surcharges, adds taxes/duties based on destination, and lets you set a hard “max landed price” that converts into a safe maximum bid. It also tracks multiple watched lots across marketplaces and alerts you when your landed-cost threshold is about to be exceeded as prices move. This isn’t a magical bidding bot; it’s a decision tool that prevents the most common auction regret: winning and then discovering shipping, fees, and taxes doubled the price. The MVP focuses on a few major marketplaces and a handful of shipping lanes, because broad coverage is expensive and messy.
