ShipSplit

ShipSplit is a web app (with an optional lightweight mobile companion) that helps online retailers reduce shipping costs and delivery times by automatically splitting customer orders across multiple fulfillment sources: your own warehouse, 3PLs, dropship vendors, and marketplace inventory. It connects to Shopify/WooCommerce and major carriers, then simulates shipping outcomes (cost, ETA, carbon, risk) before an order is released. The app recommends the best split plan and can auto-create shipments, labels, and routing rules. It also flags “bad splits” that increase returns or customer confusion and suggests bundling alternatives. This is not magic: savings depend on having multiple fulfillment nodes and clean inventory data. But for brands with 2+ locations or a 3PL plus in-house stock, it can consistently shave dollars off each order and reduce late deliveries—two levers that directly impact margin and repeat purchase.
