ShopFloorIQ is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for small-scale manufacturers and job shops that need faster quoting and clearer job profitability without buying an expensive ERP. It combines a traditional app with AI: you enter a part description, quantity, material, and process steps (or upload a drawing/PDF), and it generates a structured quote draft, routing, and estimated cycle times based on your historical jobs. It then tracks actual time, scrap, and material usage per job via simple shop-floor check-ins, so you can see margin drift in near real time. The goal is not “perfect AI quoting” (that’s unrealistic), but cutting quote prep time and exposing where money leaks: setup time, rework, and underpriced operations. It integrates with QuickBooks/Xero for invoicing and keeps the workflow simple enough for 5–50 person shops.
