ShopPulse

ShopPulse is a web + mobile app for small CNC and fabrication shops that tracks machine health and job progress using low-cost sensors and simple operator check-ins. It focuses on the unsexy reality: unexpected spindle issues, coolant problems, air leaks, tool breakage, and “mystery” scrap that kills margins. Connect a small edge device to capture vibration/current/temperature from a machine, then correlate it with job runs and operator notes to flag abnormal patterns and likely causes. The app generates a daily “risk list” (machines/jobs most likely to fail), maintenance reminders based on actual usage (not calendar guesses), and a simple scrap/downtime log that produces actionable reports for owners. This is not full-blown MES; it’s a lightweight early-warning and accountability layer that a 5–50 person shop can actually adopt without a consultant.
