ShoreSentry
ShoreSentry helps lake and river managers spot and track shoreline problems—erosion, fallen trees, blocked culverts, algae scums, trash hotspots, and unsafe access points—using repeatable photo surveys and simple field workflows. Users walk or boat a route, capture geo-tagged photos, and log issues with severity, likely cause, and recommended action. The AI component auto-suggests issue type from photos and flags “change since last visit” by comparing to prior images, but it’s designed to be assistive, not magical. Reports export to PDF/CSV for boards, grant applications, and contractors. This is realistic because it leans on what teams already do (site walks, photos, spreadsheets) and turns it into a consistent, auditable system. It won’t replace professional assessments; it reduces missed problems and speeds up triage and budgeting.
