Shot2Anim

Shot2Anim is a web + desktop (optional) app for animation teams that converts rough storyboards into clean, timed animatics with consistent camera language. Users upload panels (or a PDF), the app auto-detects shots, crops, and panel order, then builds a timeline with editable durations, pans/zooms, and simple camera moves. It generates temp dialogue timing from a scratch VO track, adds SFX placeholders, and exports an EDL/AAF plus a reference video for editorial. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles panel segmentation, shot continuity suggestions, and timing proposals; traditional tools provide a reliable timeline editor and export pipeline. The goal isn’t “make the animation for you”—it’s to remove the tedious setup work that burns days in pre-production and causes downstream rework when editorial needs changes.
