ShotAudit

ShotAudit is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps hunters and anglers document ethical decision-making in the field and reduce avoidable suffering. It guides users through a quick pre-shot/pre-cast checklist (distance, angle, species ID confidence, weather, gear readiness), then logs outcomes (shot placement notes, recovery time, dispatch method, lost animal risk factors). The app generates a private “Ethics Log” and optional shareable summaries for mentors, clubs, or landowners. It also includes local regulation links, but the focus is ethics: minimizing wounding loss, respecting property, and proper handling. An AI assistant can flag risky patterns (e.g., repeated long shots, frequent poor-light attempts) and recommend training drills or gear adjustments. This won’t convert anti-hunters; it’s built for people who already care but want accountability and improvement.
