ShotLedger
ShotLedger is a mobile + web app for indie cinematographers and small crews that bridges the gap between a beautiful shot list and what actually happens on set. You import a script/shot list, then the app becomes a lightweight “camera department log + continuity sanity check” that’s fast enough to use under pressure. It tracks planned vs. captured shots, lens/filters, camera settings, lighting notes, takes, and quick reference frames. The AI part is optional: it can parse PDFs/Final Draft exports into a structured shot list, and it can auto-tag clips/photos with scene/shot/take using time, slate photo, and simple OCR. Brutal truth: crews won’t adopt anything that slows them down, so the UI is built for one-handed, 5-second logging and offline-first reliability. It’s not trying to replace professional DIT tools; it’s for crews that can’t afford them.
