ShowAudit is a mobile + web app that helps people avoid animal-exploitative circuses and entertainment by giving clear, evidence-backed listings of shows, venues, and touring productions. Users can search a city, scan a poster QR code, or paste an event link to see a simple rating: animal-free, animal-involved, or unclear. Each listing includes sources (venue policies, permits, USDA/inspection records where applicable, credible news, and user-submitted photos/videos) plus a short explanation of what’s known and what isn’t. The app also suggests nearby humane alternatives (acrobatic circuses, theater, dance) and provides a one-tap email template to ask venues about animal use. This won’t “end animal entertainment” overnight; it’s a practical consumer transparency tool that nudges demand away from animal acts and pressures venues to adopt animal-free policies.
