ShrinkPulse

ShrinkPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small-to-mid retailers reduce shrink by turning messy loss-prevention signals into actionable tasks. It connects to POS exports, inventory counts, refunds/voids logs, and basic camera/event systems (where available) to flag high-risk patterns: repeat no-receipt returns, suspicious refund clusters, excessive voids by cashier, and inventory adjustments that don’t match sales. The product is intentionally “lightweight LP”: it doesn’t pretend to replace enterprise video analytics or full-blown EAS systems. Instead, it gives store managers a weekly risk dashboard, store-to-store benchmarking, and a simple case workflow (notes, attachments, outcomes) to document incidents and policy coaching. AI is used for anomaly detection and narrative summaries, not as a magic “thief detector.” The goal is fewer blind spots, faster investigations, and tighter operational discipline without hiring a dedicated LP team.
