ShutoffMap
ShutoffMap is a mobile app that helps homeowners document and instantly locate critical plumbing shutoffs and fixtures (main water, toilet angle stops, sink valves, water heater, irrigation, etc.). Users create a simple “home plumbing map” by taking photos, adding room labels, and pinning locations on a lightweight floor-plan view. The app includes a timed emergency checklist (what to shut off first, what tools to grab, who to call) and can share a read-only emergency link with family, neighbors, or a housesitter. This is not a glamorous idea, but it’s practical: most people don’t know where their main shutoff is until water is spraying. The MVP focuses on fast retrieval under stress, offline access, and clarity—because in a leak, you won’t want to search your camera roll or read long tutorials.
