SideEffectly

SideEffectly is a mobile + web app that helps people on psychiatric medications track what actually changes over time: mood, sleep, anxiety, appetite, libido, focus, and side effects. Users log quick daily check-ins, medication doses, missed doses, and life events (alcohol, caffeine, period cycle, stressful days). The app turns this into simple charts and a “doctor-ready” summary you can export before appointments, reducing vague memory-based conversations. It also flags patterns like “insomnia spikes 2–3 days after dose increases” and prompts users to discuss issues with their clinician (not to self-adjust). This is not therapy and not a crisis tool; it’s a practical adherence-and-observation companion that makes medication management less chaotic. It’s brutally pragmatic: if you won’t log for more than 30 seconds, it won’t work—so the UI must be frictionless.
